There\u2019s generally a positive story around the legitimate use of customer data – essentially brands can interact with customers using genuine insight, providing the right information to the right people. <\/p>\n
This topic has been dominating headlines in recent years, and no more so than now. In just a matter of weeks (25th May), the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) <\/strong>comes into effect, marking a key shift in how organisations are allowed to collect, store and use customer data. In short, this new regulation was designed to unify data privacy laws across Europe, ensure a harmonised approach to how organisations consider data privacy, to protect customer data, and to give customers more power over their information.<\/p>\n As we prepare for these forthcoming changes, we wanted to communicate our commitment to you.
