As the latest employee to join our in-house team of property experts, Xavier will direct this new asset class with the benefit of over 40 years of industry know-how.<\/p>\n<p><em>\u201cI decided to join the Property Partner team as I was impressed by how the company empowers private investors and democratises the process of investing, via fractional ownership through the platform. It is a unique opportunity to offer direct investment into Commercial Property which I\u2019m excited to be leading.\u201d <\/em><\/p>\n<p>Areas of expertise: Property Acquisition and Fund Management, Corporate and Business Development, Financial Strategy, Governance and Communication and Operational Management.<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/www.propertypartner.co\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/01\/Xav.jpg\" alt=\"Xavier\"><\/p>\n<p><strong>So, what expertise does he bring to Property Partner?<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Xavier\u2019s experience in Commercial Property is diverse and international, with significant experience of the UK, US and German property markets. A well-connected and influential figure in the UK Commercial Property market, he is highly regarded as a property expert, entrepreneur and investor.<\/p>\n<p>Known for his entrepreneurial spirit, Xavier co-founded Capital and Regional PLC in 1979, which floated on the London stock Exchange in 1986 and remains a listed Real Estate Investment Trust. As joint MD, he subsequently acquired R Green Properties and Marylebone Warwick Balfour, partnered with Pillar Property and formed substantial property funds with Hermes and Morley Fund Management Ltd &#8211; to name but a few!<\/p>\n<p>Other notable roles include Non-Executive Director of a \u00a31bn ground rent and student housing fund at Brandeaux Fund Management, and outside the world of property, he co-founded commercial publishing and poster advertising company Primesight, which subsequently became a listed plc and was sold to Scottish Media Group.<\/p>\n<p>Most recently, he has acted as a Director for Ruffena Capital, a corporate advisory company, and advised commercial property company Riverside Capital. He has also recently formed joint ventures with Pramerica in the UK and Kintyre in Germany, and is a Non Executive Director of Tamla Construction.<\/p>\n<p>We are thrilled to have Xavier on board to lead our Commercial Property offering, using his expertise to acquire only the best properties for our investors.<\/p>\n<p>Want to know more about his strategy for selecting these properties?
